RATP Dev USA is seeking a Mechanic Level A to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of our transit fleet. You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and inspect heavy-duty diesel buses and trucks with advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

This role requires four ASE Truck/Transit Bus certifications (including T6 or H6 electrical) and EPA 608/609, plus at least four years of verifiable heavy-duty diesel bus or truck experience. CDL-B with endorsements is required.

Qualifications

• Evidence of a safety-first attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Minimum two years of technical training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Four ASE Truck/Transit Bus certifications (including T6 or H6 electrical) required for Level A.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, maintain, and inspect heavy-duty diesel buses and trucks.
• Repair and replace brake systems, fuel and emission systems, driveline, steering, and suspension components.
• Use diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Allison DOC) to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain service records and repair history in electronic repair orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in 24/7 operations when needed.
