Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Union, NJ is seeking an experienced automotive professional to join as an Instructor/Automotive. You will lead hands-on labs, deliver the Lincoln Tech–accredited course sequence, and mentor students in shop safety and professional conduct.

This role offers a climate-controlled facility, industry-standard gear, and a 4-day work week with options for part-time, full-time, or substitute schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Automotive Technician.
• ASE credentials (G1 and A6) required.
• Strong communication and teaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-impact Automotive Technology labs and demonstrations.
• Facilitate the Lincoln Tech–accredited course sequence.
• Coach professional behaviors, accountability, and shop discipline.
• Evaluate learner progress and communicate clear next steps.
• Champion safety and compliance across all shop activities.
• Equip students with the skills to thrive in the automotive field.
