Job summary

Avis Budget Group International in West Palm Beach, FL is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.

You will handle oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, and warranty-related work, and may assist senior technicians as you build your ASE credentials. A complete set of tools and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
