Avis Budget Group in Miami, FL is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You’ll work with minimal supervision and help ensure vehicles are safe and ready for customers.

You should have a valid driver's license, 2+ years of auto repair experience or coursework with certifications, at least one ASE cert (with goal of two more in the first year), and a complete toolset.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification; ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within first year.
• Must have complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on newer vehicles.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostic and repairs as needed.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime and ensure customer readiness.
