Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in West Palm Beach. You will perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet with guidance from senior technicians, focusing on safety and reliability.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years of experience or relevant coursework, and ASE certification(s). You’ll be part of a team focused on customer service and vehicle readiness, with on-site work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
Minimum 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
At least 1 ASE certification, with potential to obtain 2 more within the first year.
Must have own tools and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
OEM experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
Conduct oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs and other routine maintenance.
Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs.
Ensure vehicles are reliable and safe for customers and ready for use.
