Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Windsor Locks, CT. You will perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision, supporting safety, reliability, and customer readiness.

You’ll work on oil/fluids, tires, brakes, suspension, and warranty-related services, with on-the-job training and ASE certification growth opportunities. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have complete set of tools required for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site position; remote work not available.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and related maintenance.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repairs.
• Contribute to vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime and support a positive customer experience.
