Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose and repair vehicles and ensure service quality in accordance with MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards.

You will perform multi-point inspections, explain repairs to customers and collaborate with qualified technicians to maintain high customer satisfaction. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Valid driver's license and pass an MVR screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certification/experience.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection and repair orders with accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to managers, service consultants, and customers.
• Recommends necessary services to keep vehicles running and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervision.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals.
