Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to high standards of safety and reliability in a climate-controlled facility. You will work with a skilled team, handling engines, brakes, steering, and suspension while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair and vehicle systems such as steering, suspension, brakes and HVAC.
• Ability to comply with health and safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to solve technical challenges quickly.
• Gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow EH&S guidelines.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and trust through quality work.
