Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility, gaining hands-on experience on domestic and foreign vehicles while following EH&S guidelines.

CarMax supports growth with ongoing training and advanced tools. Ideal candidates have experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, and HVAC, along with a valid driver’s license and strong safety

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and ASE certifications where required.
