Job summary

Asbury in Brandon, FL is seeking a Service Technician- Courtesy CJDR to repair customer vehicles, perform diagnostics, and complete routine maintenance with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work on light engine work, electrical systems, HVAC, steering, suspension, and more, using industry-standard procedures and manufacturer guidance. A valid license, tool set, and willingness to continue training are required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road test to verify work performed and door-to-door test as needed.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Utilize product and technician training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to expand knowledge of new tech.
• Maintain CSI at or above Asbury goals in service outcomes.
• Complete warranty repair orders and file warranty claims.
