Job summary

CarMax in West Point, Virginia is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to CarMax’s safety and reliability standards. You’ll work with a team in a climate-controlled facility, gaining hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and reconditioning vehicles to CarMax standards.
• Ability to handle safety and EH&S requirements in a climate-controlled shop.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with a skilled team to resolve technical challenges quickly.
• Gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.
