Job summary

CarMax in West Point, Virginia is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet high safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models.

You’ll join a culture of integrity and excellence, with ongoing training and a new hire bonus up to $5,000 based on experience. The hourly rate ranges from $24.70 to $41.94.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC as needed.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
