Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Kent, WA. You will perform repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer moving vans and box trucks, handling oil services, tire work, brakes, and minor diagnostics with supervision as you grow your skills.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ASE certification (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a shop environment. Training, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within first year.
• Comfortable in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Must have complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a fleet of moving vans and box trucks.
• Carry out oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes, suspension work, and warranty-related repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs as you grow your skills.
• May be required to drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or support.
