Transdev in Sumter, SC is seeking an Automotive Technician I to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across gas and diesel vehicles. You will contribute to safety, efficiency, and fleet longevity with a strong diagnostic focus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic's Tool Set.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on gas & diesel engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize vehicle performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for gas and diesel engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks
• Other duties as required.
