Job summary

UPS in Summerville, South Carolina, is seeking an Automotive Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of delivery vehicles with diesel and gasoline propulsion systems. The role requires hands-on diagnostics, tool use, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates will have a current driver’s license, be able to work 3rd shift (6:00 PM–3:00 AM), and bring their own hand tools. CDL is preferred and DOT requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license required.
• Willing to work a 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00PM–3:00AM.
• Must possess required hand tools.
• Class A/B CDL preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and scan tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a diverse range of delivery vehicles.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls.
• Comply with DOT requirements and safety policies.
