Job summary
Greenway Mazda in Houston, TX is seeking a reliable Service Technician to join our team. The role requires ASE certification or an equivalent automotive maintenance credential and at least two years of hands-on experience.

Qualifications
- ASE Certification or completed an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair
- At least two years of experience as an automotive technician
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Experience with shop equipment such as wheel/tire equipment, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operations
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
- Professional appearance and friendly customer service
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including composure under stress
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
- Test‑drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs automotive transmissions and related systems
- Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Willingness to learn with hands‑on training
- Performs other duties as assigned
