Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to service a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You’ll perform oil changes, tire repairs, brakes, suspension, and warranty-related repairs with minimal supervision. Opportunity to grow skills with hands-on work and ASE certification support.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Class A, B, or C)
• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year
• Working knowledge of ASE areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer moving vans and box trucks across multiple brands
• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work, and warranty-related repairs
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repair procedures
• May drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing, repair verification, or operational support
• Keep vehicles operating safely to reduce downtime and ensure fleet availability
