Job summary

ATSU-ASDOH in Mesa, Arizona seeks a full-time non-exempt Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support residents as a chairside assistant in a four-handed role, ensuring efficient patient flow and high standards of care.

Responsibilities include inputting charting and notes in Dolphin, acquiring CBCT x-rays, keeping the Orthodontic unit clean, completing monthly maintenance tasks, scanning documents, and assisting with clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• DA and X-Ray certificates required.
• Four-handed dental assisting skills.
• Ability to take clear, diagnostic images and photographs.
• Sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards/regulations.
• Proficient with Dolphin software.
• Dental back office experience.
• Digital x-ray, infection control, demonstrated knowledge of computer systems/software.

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-ASDOH) is seeking a full-time non-exempt Dental Assistant for Orthodontics on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will provide support as a chairside assistant to assigned residents, performing daily four-handed assisting duties and working solo with patients.
