The role requires Massachusetts licensure or eligibility, experience with ASD, and strong skills in IEP development, progress monitoring, and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed/eligible Special Education Teacher (Massachusetts preferred).
• Experience supporting students with ASD in substantially separate settings.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation.
• Effective classroom management and ability to implement behavior and sensory supports.
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment with predictable routines and clear expectations.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavior support plans with fidelity.
• Collect data and monitor student progress; adjust instruction based on student performance.
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and general education staff.
• Communicate consistently with families and participate in IEP meetings and required documentation.
