Job summary

Orchard View Schools is seeking an ASD paraprofessional to support the Cardinal & Early Elementary ASD classroom. This full-time role runs 6.75 hours daily (8:45am-4:00pm, M-F) during the school year, with a pay rate of $16.79 per hour.

You will report to the assigned teacher, monitor progress, handle data/records, and reinforce lessons. Requires being Highly Qualified with a relevant degree/ETS score, and basic first aid skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be Highly Qualified per Department of Education.
• Highly qualified as in having an associate's degree, 60 credit hours or ETS score 460+.
• HCA role provides support to identified students and follows teacher directives.

Responsibilities

• Report to the assigned teacher and follow directives.
• Monitor student progress and maintain data/records.
• Reinforce lessons and classroom activities.
• Provide required medical related assistance as needed per position.
