Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic classroom management strategies and literacy/math interventions.
• Ability to work with students and staff professionally.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and support students with self-control behavior exceptionalities.
• Provide student feedback with peer and adult social interaction.
• Reinforce student success following structured protocols and data documentation methods.
• Participate in professional learning communities and ongoing training.
• Assist in building positive relationships between students, schools and community organizations.
• Assist teacher in developing student behavior and academic goals.
• Maintain order in the absence of the lead teacher.
• Assist staff during parent conferences and concerns.
• Participate in ongoing formative and summative assessments to determine student progress and need for services.
• Communicate with teachers and principal about student needs and intervention plans.
