Lifeworks Schools in Doylestown, PA is seeking an energetic Instructional Assistant to support our ASD Program for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities include classroom management, reinforcing materials, one-to-one educational support, and assisting with classroom operations. A minimum of 2 years of college coursework or an associate degree is required; prior experience with adolescents in behavioral health settings is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related college coursework or an Associate Degree.
• Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.
• Ability to reinforce material and support classroom activities and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom management assistance to the teacher when working with students individually and with the class.
• Reinforce material already introduced by the teacher to the class.
• Provide educational assistance to students on a one-to-one basis.
• Completes tasks assigned by teacher pertaining to classroom environment, educational materials, and other operational functions in the classroom.
