Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus seeks a Medical Laboratory Technologist to independently perform and report laboratory findings in compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree and certification (ASCP/AMT or equivalent) and have at least 1 year of clinical lab experience.

Strong analytical skills, quality assurance know-how, and proficiency with laboratory information systems are essential for success in a fast-paced environment with a Day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and certification at the Medical Technologist level (ASCP, AMT, or Equivalent) or Bachelor's degree and categorical certification consistent with the work performed: C, H, I, BB, M (ASCP).
• 1 year clinical laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform and report laboratory findings.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and ensure patient safety.
