The University of Kentucky is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist - Certified for the Core Lab in a fast-paced academic medical center. The role includes testing across blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology and urinalysis with emphasis on accuracy and timely result reporting.

Testing sites include multiple Core Lab locations; University of Kentucky’s Level I trauma center and affiliated programs are supported by this team. ASCP MLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BS in medical laboratory sciences or related field.
• ASCP MLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating including weekends/holidays.
