Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to plan, supervise, and coordinate activities across clinical laboratory sections. The role ensures quality, manages costs, schedules staff, and maintains regulatory standards in a multi-discipline lab setting at Nampa Medical Center.

Ideal candidates hold MT/MLS/CLS certification with ASCP and a Bachelor’s degree in CLS or related field; 3 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASCP certification required or Histotechnologist/Cytotechnologist certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field required.
• 3 years of experience in a specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, orients, and promotes teamwork and mentors department colleagues.
• Be part of the med tech team supporting the lab's clinical needs.
• Plans, prepares and coordinates work schedules to provide adequate coverage and efficient use of team.
