Job summary

Acuity Eye Group in Escondido, CA is seeking an ASC Administrator to provide strategic leadership, compliance and operations oversight for ambulatory surgery centers, driving performance improvement and new service line development.

You will partner with physicians and leaders to manage staffing, budgets, billing, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives to ensure high patient satisfaction and efficient surgical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health professions, business administration, public administration or related field.
• 5–7 years of related surgical, ambulatory and/or circulating nursing experience.
• 5–7 years of administrative management experience in health care.
• Strong leadership and physician relationship management experience.
• Ability to influence and interact with patients, staff and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for ASC revenue and NOI performance.
• Manage and optimize operations with clinical leadership.
• Develop indicators to evaluate operations and report risks or opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory, licensing and credentialing compliance.
• Oversee billing, authorizations, verifications and patient financial obligations.
• Develop and control staffing, budgets and external contracts.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure internal controls.
• Lead talent acquisition with leaders and doctors; coach staff.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and ensure quality improvements.
