Job summary

Midland-Marvel in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Surgery Center Administrator to oversee a Joint Commission-accredited ambulatory surgery center. This executive role focuses on operations, financial performance, physician engagement, and patient experience.

You will lead daily operations, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, credentialing, and quality improvement, partnering with physician owners and the governing board to drive strategic growth in Gastroenterology.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) or hospital surgical services.
• Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, staffing, and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and quality initiatives.
• Proven ability to build collaborative physician relationships.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for all daily operations of the ambulatory surgery center.
• Foster strong relationships with physician partners, the Governing Board, and executive leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
• Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets.
• Monitor financial performance, productivity, and key operational metrics.
• Lead workforce planning, employee engagement, recruitment, and performance management initiatives.
• Oversee physician credentialing, medical staff coordination, and contract management.
• Partner with physicians to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Lead quality improvement, infection prevention, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.
• Evaluate opportunities for service line growth and operational enhancements.
• Manage vendor relationships, purchasing, and contracted services.
• Prepare operational reports and present performance metrics to leadership and governing boards.
