Surgery Partners, Inc is hiring an experienced Clinical ASC Administrator to lead the launch and day-to-day operations of a brand-new orthopedic ASC in Grand Prairie, TX.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas in good standing.
• BSN or healthcare-related degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in progressive leadership in ASC or surgical services.
• Experience with orthopedic procedures and workflows.
• Ability to manage operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide full operational oversight of the ASC including clinical, financial, and administrative functions.
• Lead start-up execution: licensure, accreditation, vendor selection, equipment procurement, go-live readiness.
• Develop and manage the center’s operating budget, P&L, and cost controls.
• Implement processes to optimize surgical case volume, block utilization, and efficiency.
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in orthopedic settings.
• Establish workflows across pre-op, OR, and PACU with clinical leadership.
• Maintain regulatory and accreditation compliance (CMS, TX, AAAHC).
• Build relationships with orthopedic surgeons and stakeholders; drive satisfaction and case growth.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing, patient-centered team.
• Oversee staffing models, productivity, and performance management.

Lead the Opening of a New Orthopedic Surgery Center Grand Prairie, TX

Surgery Partners is seeking an experienced Clinical ASC Administrator to lead the launch and day-to-day operations of a brand-new orthopedic ASC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational & Business Leadership

• Provide full operational oversight of the ASC, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions
• Lead start-up execution: licensure, accreditation, vendor selection, equipment procurement, and go-live readiness
• Develop and manage the center’s operating budget, P&L performance, and cost controls
• Implement processes to optimize surgical case volume, block utilization, and operational efficiency

Clinical & Patient Care Oversight

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in alignment with orthopedic best practices
• Partner with clinical leadership to establish workflows across pre-op, OR, and PACU
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (CMS, state of Texas, and AAAHC)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons and stakeholders
• Drive physician satisfaction, engagement, and case growth
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing, patient-centered team
• Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence
• Oversee staffing models, productivity expectations, and performance management

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and risk management
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators
• Oversee infection prevention, patient safety, and clinical outcomes programs

Qualifications

Required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (in good standing)
• Bachelor's degree (BSN or healthcare-related) or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services environment
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures and workflows required
• Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
• ASC Experience with Strong understanding of ASC regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements

Preferred

• Experience leading a de novo, startup, or turnaround environment
• Experience with physician partnerships/joint ventures
• Fast-paced, orthopedic-focused ambulatory surgery setting
• Monday - Friday schedule with case-dependent hours
• Start-up environment requiring adaptability, hands-on leadership, and problem-solving
