Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an experienced Clinical ASC Administrator to lead the development and ongoing operations of a new orthopedic-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. The role combines strategic startup activities with hands-on management, physician engagement, and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• Bachelor's degree (BSN or healthcare-related).
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services environment.
• Demonstrated experience with orthopedic procedures and workflows.
• Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of ASC regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide full operational oversight of the ASC, including clinical, financial, and administrative functions.
• Lead start-up execution: licensure, accreditation, vendor selection, equipment procurement, and go-live readiness.
• Develop and manage the center's operating budget, P&L performance, and cost controls.
• Implement processes to optimize surgical case volume, block utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons and stakeholders.
• Drive physician satisfaction, engagement, and case growth.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team and establish a culture of accountability.
• Oversee staffing models, productivity, and performance management.
• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and risk management.
