Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Revenue Manager to lead ASC 606-based revenue accounting policy for complex multi-element contracts across hardware, software, and services. You will partner with Legal, Sales, Sales Ops, and Product to ensure compliant revenue treatment in a fast-paced AI and hardware environment.

The role emphasizes audit readiness, strong communication with non-finance stakeholders, and continuous improvement of ICFR and SOX controls.

Qualifications

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to ASC 606 technical revenue recognition.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is highly preferred (or equivalent active license).

Responsibilities

Own the interpretation and application of ASC 606 for complex transactions including multi-element arrangements.
Review draft contracts and non-standard terms to identify revenue recognition implications and provide structuring alternatives.
Prepare revenue desk memos and position papers for significant transactions for audit readiness and internal use.
Maintain controls related to revenue recognition and support ICFR/SOX documentation.
Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product and Revenue teams on SSP analyses and NPI processes.
