Job summary

Rhodar Limited is currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Operative to conduct site setup and safe abatement of asbestos-containing materials in line with the method statement and scope of works.

Operatives may be asked to work on Rhodar sites nationwide, including working away from home. Shifts may include weekends and night responsibilities, with allowances and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of asbestos removal experience.
• In-date CSCS card required.
• Friendly, calm and professional manner.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit for site work.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Full driving licence held.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site setup and safe abatement of asbestos-containing materials per method statement.
• Follow scope of works and maintain safety procedures on site.
• Work on Rhodar sites nationwide; may involve working away from home.
• Handle weekend and night shifts as required by site schedule.

Job description

Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking to appoint experienced Asbestos Removal Operatives in Durham.

Salary: £130 per day, plus the following allowances:

• £20 for working on a Bank Holiday
• £20 for working away + £15 meal allowance
• £20 per night for working on nights
• £40 per day for working on a weekend

For Example, Your Weekly Pay Could Be

• Monday- Friday working locally: £650
• Monday- Saturday working locally: £820
• Monday- Sunday working away: £1130

An Asbestos Removal Operative is required to conduct site set up and safe abatement of asbestos containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works.

Operatives may be asked to work on Rhodar sites nationwide that will include working away from home. They will also be required to work various shift patterns including weekends and night shifts.

Person Specification

• 3 years minimum of Asbestos Removal Experience.
• Must hold in date CSCS card.
• Friendly, calm and professional manner.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit.
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
• Full driving licence.
