Job summary

Rhodar Limited is seeking an Asbestos Removal Supervisor to oversee site operations in the Midlands and South West region. You will coordinate site setup and manage asbestos abatement activities to meet the project scope and timeline.

The role requires a minimum of two years’ supervisory experience, a full driving licence, and a flexible, team-focused approach. This position offers on-site work with opportunities for training and career development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site set up and abatement of asbestos‑containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works.
• Assist the Contract Manager to complete the works on time and to budget.
• Ensure all regulatory requirements are met with accurate documentation.
• Supervisors will normally work on larger contracts.

Job description

Due to our continued growth, we are currently looking to appoint Asbestos Removal Supervisors in the Midlands and South West Region.

Salary: Starting from £170 per day, plus the following allowances:

• £20 for working on a Bank Holiday
• £20 for working away
• £20 per night for working on nights
• £40 per day for working on a weekend

The supervisor is the first line of management within the Rhodar business.

Specific tasks involve conducting site set up and abatement of asbestos‑containing materials according to the method statement and scope of works, assisting the Contract Manager to complete the works on time and to budget, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met with accurate documentation. Supervisors will normally work on larger contracts.

Person Specification

• Two years’ experience as a qualified Foreman or Supervisor
• Friendly, calm and professional manner
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically fit
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Full driving licence
