Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in physical or natural science, architecture, or engineering.
• Accreditation as an Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer and Contractor/Supervisor preferred.
• Experience performing regulatory activities and preparing technical inspection reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program activities and policy development for Asbestos, Lead-based Paint and HazCom programs.
• Coordinate with EPA and other state/federal agencies and stakeholders.
• Prepare technical papers, outreach materials, and guidance documents.
• Lead grant management and QA oversight for NESHAP/AHERA programs and staff training.
• Participate in emergency response and COOP-related activities.
