Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking an ASACS Counselor to implement the Camp Humphrey's, Korea program. The role focuses on school-based counseling for high school and middle school students, with emphasis on comprehensive assessment and individualized service planning.

You will conduct counseling, engage in community outreach, and collaborate with stakeholders to promote resiliency and reduce substance abuse among adolescents. Requires master’s level licensure and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university (CACREP accreditation preferred).
• Drug and Alcohol Certification (MRAS, CSAC, CAP, etc).
• Licensed as an independent level provider (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC or PSY with PhD).
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Implements the ASACS Counseling Program at assigned school-based locations.
• Performs a comprehensive assessment of referred adolescents and families.
• Develops an individualized service plan addressing identified needs with goals, methods and techniques.
• Performs individual, group or family counseling as necessary.
• Promotes resiliency and reduces mental health disorders and adolescent substance abuse; engages with stakeholders including the garrison command.
