Job summary

Aeronix in Melbourne, FL seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure AS9100 compliance. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Contracts, and Supply Chain to drive quality performance across the business.

The role is hands-on and strategic, coordinating internal and external audits, tracking quality metrics, and steering corrective actions. A strong background in aerospace quality and supplier management is required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or a highly regulated technical environment.
• Experience with aerospace and defense customer requirements, including U.S. Government programs.
• Familiarity with DOD/DOW, DCMA, DFARS/FAR, and government contract quality requirements.
• Demonstrated experience administering or managing an AS9100-compliant Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and execute the Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100 and applicable requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external quality audits and monitor quality metrics.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Ensure quality requirements are embedded into programs, engineering, manufacturing, and supplier management.
