Job summary

United Future is seeking a Quality Manager responsible for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and overall product quality. The role focuses on AS9100 compliance, driving corrective actions, and maintaining quality standards across production and administrative processes.

The position emphasizes ownership of the QMS, proactive quality leadership, and ensuring quality standards are executed throughout the organization, including PPAPs and audits.

Qualifications

• AS9100 QMS ownership and auditing experience.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Experience ensuring PPAPs and first article inspections.
• Strong training and coaching on quality processes.
• Proven ability to drive corrective actions (8D, CARs, SCARs).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System across the organization.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, including customer and registrar audits.
• Monitor quality performance and address issues impacting product quality in real time.
• Provide training and coaching to employees to improve quality awareness and execution.
• Drive corrective actions across departments to ensure timely completion and effectiveness.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer quality issues and responses.
• Oversee supplier quality including corrective actions and on-time delivery.
• Support technical validation activities such as PPAP and dimensional inspection as required.
• Ensure inspection processes (incoming, in-process, final) are effective and consistently executed.
