Job summary

SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Quality Manager to own the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure AS9100 compliance across production and administrative processes. The role emphasizes proactive leadership, corrective actions, and sustaining consistent quality standards throughout the organization.

The successful candidate will oversee internal and external audits, drive containment and corrective actions, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Purchasing to address

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or related field; AS9100 knowledge preferred.
• 3+ years of quality checks on parts and AS9100 audit experience is a plus.
• Hands-on inspection experience and ability to train/coach on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System across the organization.
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and registrar audits.
• Monitor quality performance and address issues in real time.
• Lead corrective actions (8D, CARs, SCARs) and drive effective resolutions.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and Purchasing to address supplier and process quality concerns.
