Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Quality Manager to own and strengthen the AS9100 Quality Management System and drive product quality across production and administrative processes. You will lead internal and external audits, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor quality performance in real time on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or management.
• 3+ years of quality checks and AS9100 audits.
• Hands-on inspection experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate external audits, including customer and registrar audits.
• Monitor quality performance and address issues impacting product quality in real time.
• Communicate quality performance, risks and significant issues to leadership.
• Perform hands-on inspection of parts to verify quality standards.
• Engage with production staff through on-the-floor coaching to improve quality awareness.
• Lead corrective actions (8D, CARs, SCARs) and ensure timely completion.
• Be the primary contact for customer quality issues and responses.
• Oversee supplier quality, including corrective actions and on-time delivery.
• Drive improvement of key quality metrics (returns, scrap, supplier performance).
• Support validation activities such as PPAP and dimensional validation as needed.
• Ensure inspection processes (incoming, in-process, final) are effective.
