Job summary

MOHR Talent seeks a Quality Engineer with AS9100 experience to support product quality, manufacturing compliance, and its Quality Management System. This hands-on role collaborates with production and engineering teams, leads internal audits, and maintains AS9100/Nadcap compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and prior quality engineering experience in aerospace/defense manufacturing, with ability to read drawings and develop procedures. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience as Quality Engineer or in a manufacturing quality role.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
• Experience supporting a manufacturing Quality Management System.
• Internal-audit and external-audit preparation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience developing quality procedures, sampling plans, or inspection plans.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience preferred.
• Nadcap experience preferred.
• Must meet U.S.-person requirements under applicable export-control regulations

Responsibilities

• Develop quality procedures based on customer requirements and process specifications
• Develop and maintain sampling and inspection plans using recognized statistical methods
• Identify and lead measurable quality-improvement initiatives
• Perform and lead internal audits and prepare the facility for external audits
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, ISO, and applicable Nadcap requirements
• Collect and analyze quality data, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor, test, and inspect manufactured products for compliance with customer and engineering requirements
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Identify key characteristics, critical items, and inspection requirements
• Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues
