Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead AS9100 quality initiatives in West Point, MS. This in-person role focuses on aligning procedures with customer specs, auditing readiness, and ensuring compliance with AS9100/Nadcap standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in a similar quality role, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with ISO quality standards, AS9100 or Nadcap preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
• U.S. person as defined by export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality procedures aligned with customer requirements and process specs.
• Build and maintain sampling plans using statistical methods.
• Lead internal audits to prepare for external certification reviews.

A well established and growingaerospace manufacturer with a reputation for stability and a team that cares about their people is hiring a Quality Engineer to help lead their quality management system into its next stage of growth.

What You'll Do

• Develop quality procedures aligned with customer requirements and process specifications
• Build and maintain sampling plans using recognized statistical methods
• Lead internal audits to prepare the team for external certification reviews
• Support the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and Nadcap standards
• Review engineering drawings to identify key characteristics and critical items
• Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data to drive measurable improvements
• Monitor, test, and inspect products to confirm they meet all specified standards

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in a similar quality role, preferably within aerospace or defense manufacturing
• Experience working within ISO quality management standards, AS9100 or Nadcap strongly preferred
• Must be able to obtain a security clearance if required
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by federal export control regulations
