Job summary

Maple Heights City Schools seeks a Preschool Itinerant Tutor for Lincoln Elementary School to provide specialized instruction to preschool children with disabilities in home, public school, or community-based programs. You will manage a caseload and use data to drive individualized interventions.

Applicants must hold or be able to obtain an Ohio ECI license, demonstrate a strong attendance record, and be able to receive feedback.

Qualifications

Ohio Early Childhood Intervention Specialist License or ability to obtain proper certification.
Prior work records must demonstrate good working habits, excellent attendance record, and evaluations.
Ability to take direction and feedback frequently from staff.
Ability to provide a clear BCI/FBI background check free of convictions.

Responsibilities

Provide specially designed instruction and support to preschool children with disabilities in the home, public school preschool, or community-based childcare program.
Maintain a caseload of up to 15 students.
Use data to make instructional decisions for individualized student interventions.
Maintain educational records and progress monitoring for a diverse group of students on the caseload.
Demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with a variety of individuals.
