Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual, as-needed Phlebotomist to work in our Laboratory. The incumbent will collect venous, arterial and capillary blood specimens for analysis by the laboratory technical staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience or certification, CPR and ABG certifications, and will have performed or passed a Medical Terminology exam with a score of 75% or higher. Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.

Qualifications

• Junior College/Technical School strongly preferred.
• At least 6-months experience as a Phlebotomist or certification from an accredited phlebotomy program required
• CPR Certification required
• ABG Certification required
• Score of 75% or greater on Medical Terminology exam required
• National Phlebotomy Certification preferred
