Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Lee-Pontotoc County is seeking caring, dependable on-call babysitters to provide quality in-home childcare. Assignments may include last-minute care, date nights, weekends, or occasional care, typically 4–6 hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, nurturing environment, feeding, diapering, and supervising activities, plus help with homework and light household tasks. Competitive pay starts at $14/hr with overtime options.

Qualifications

• Experience as babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor.
• Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR.
• Experience with special needs children.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Care for infants and children, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and supervising activities.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks.
• Encourage good hygiene and assist with age-appropriate routines, including toilet training.
• Perform light household tasks related to childcare, such as washing dishes, children's laundry, and tidying play areas.
• Assist with homework and age-appropriate learning activities.
• Arrive on time and provide dependable, high-quality care for every assignment.
