Job summary

Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit in Paramount, CA seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care following the nursing process. You will plan care with patients and families, coordinate with interdisciplinary staff, and participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

Requirements include an RN license, BCLS, and 6 months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary nursing program graduate and licensed RN.
• State licensure required upon hire.
• BCLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Six months of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Fluent English and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and team.
• Participate in discharge planning process.
• Maintain nursing care standards and document in patient records.
• Administer medications safely and accurately per policy.
• Supervise and delegate tasks within licensure scope.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and other departments.
