Job summary

Colburn School is seeking an Academic Scheduling Coordinator to support the Conservatory, Music Academy, Community School of Performing Arts, and Dance Institute. You will manage space, scheduling, and room reservations across academic units to ensure smooth operations for classes, rehearsals, performances, and events.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of campus or performing arts management experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required and a minimum of three years of experience in campus management, performing arts management or event planning.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling practices and room reservation systems.
  • Proficient in ASIMUT and other scheduling software; able to train others.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary resource for space management, scheduling coordination, and room reservations for faculty, students, and staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and scheduling practices across units and projects.
  • Lead ASIMUT training sessions for students at the start of each academic year.
  • Coordinate logistics with Production, Facilities, Recording Services, and other departments.
  • Attend cross-departmental meetings to present scheduling impacts and operational needs.
  • Use utilization reports to inform space planning and facility decisions.
