Job summary

CATF is seeking a Marketing & Development Assistant in Shepherdstown, WV. This hybrid, full-time role supports the Marketing and Development Departments year-round, handling CRM (Spektrix), donations, donor acknowledgements, events, and communications.

The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, discreet, and comfortable in a fast-paced team environment, with a passion for the arts and community engagement. Some travel and event support may be required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of administrative experience
• Marketing and/or fundraising experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide admin support to Development and Marketing Departments throughout the year
• Process contributions and donor acknowledgement letters
• Collaborate with Marketing Director on social media activities for the theater
• Assist with content capture and editing
• Support development and marketing communications materials
• Maintain donor and patron records
• Maintain solicitation and communication calendars
• Coordinate photography, video capture and press interviews with Photographer and Publicist
• Assist with patron ticketing and tracking special event attendance
• Assist with prospect research and DonorSearch screening
• Assist with expense tracking and revenue reporting
• Attend and assist at Board meetings and with Board communications
• Attend and assist at special events and cultivation events
• Provide support to the box office and front of house during the summer festival
