Job summary

The Auditorium at Roosevelt University Chicago seeks a Creative Engagement Associate to provide administrative support for Hearts to Art, ArtsXChange, Admit One, Student Matinee Series, and Dance Series Master Classes. The role also acts as an ambassador, promoting programs to patrons and communities.

As a member of the Creative Engagement Team, you will attend performances and events, work with teachers and families, manage registrations, and assist with program promotion and scheduling while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience working with youth and diverse populations.
• Experience in arts education, familiarity classroom environment and CPS systems.
• Highly organized with strong project management and administrative abilities.
• Passion for the organization’s mission and commitment to the Creative Engagement Program
• Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting groups to participate in Admit One program.
• Provide support for Student Matinee Series.
• Assist with hosting for Dance Master Classes.
• Assist in the promotion and planning of Hearts to Art.
• Participate in trauma informed and supporting grieving youth trainings and developments.
• Act as Assistant Camp Director for HTA.
• Supervise and support HTA staff.
• Provide supervision and support to HTA campers.
• Plan and organize camp performances and memorial.
• Assist in the organization and execution of HTA Reunions.
• Provide support for post-event wrap up.
• Assist in the promotion and coordination of ArtsXChange year-long program.
• Mentor at least one teacher participating in ArtsXChange program.
• Assist in hosting and leading AXC Professional Developments.
• Greet and welcome Admit One guests to The Auditorium.
• Provide support to Development Department at fundraising events as needed.
• Represent The Auditorium and Creative Engagement at events as needed.
