Job summary

The Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine seeks an Academic Programs Coordinator/Senior Coordinator to lead Arts@theIntersection and related K-12 education programming across Maine partner schools. This role sits within the Learning and Engagement team and reports to the Senior Manager of Academic Programs.

You will design workshops, recruit and onboard teacher partners, and develop innovative educational resources, while contributing to educator professional development and broader museum

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in educational programming or museum education with youth
• Understanding of interdisciplinary curricula and youth development

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Arts@theIntersection workshops and gallery engagements
• Coordinate partner classrooms and teacher recruitment
• Collaborate across Learning and Engagement to expand programming
