Job summary

JCC of Greater Baltimore is seeking a Director of Arts Education to lead its vibrant arts education portfolio for children, teens, and families. You will collaborate with the Center for Arts & Culture and Gordon Center teams to shape programs including children's theater, dance, summer arts programming, and related experiences.

The role emphasizes vision, leadership, and high-quality, inclusive programming.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker and arts administrator who can turn ideas into engaging, well-executed programs.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Experience supervising teaching artists and program staff is desirable.
• College degree required; experience in arts education or arts administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative and strategic leadership for the year-round and summer arts education portfolio.
• Lead Children’s Theater Production Company programming and oversee dance programming for children and adults.
• Develop new classes, workshops, performances, camps, and arts experiences based on community needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with schools, artists, educators, and community partners.
