Job summary

The New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) seeks an Arts Team Associate for Special Projects to support complex contracts and oversight across programs in Manhattan. You will coordinate contracting requirements, monitor compliance, prepare reports, and collaborate with staff, artists, vendors, and partners on a range of cultural initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have strong financial analysis skills, experience with procurement or grants administration, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Six years of specialized experience involving arts and/or cultural programs.
• Experience designing or managing programs, projects, or initiatives.
• Familiarity with contracting, procurement, or grants administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional staff support to the Director of Special Projects and program staff.
• Administer contracting requirements for special project procurements and grants.
• Prepare statistical and analytical reports on budgets, encumbrances, and expenses.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations for executive staff.
